John Sleeman & Sons’s Single Malt brings honeyed malt, candied apple, poached pear, and a gentle warmth of hazelnut. Louis d’Or Grand Réserve adds depth and concentration, with a firm, crystalline paste and notes of brown butter, toasted nuts, and savoury broth. Wildwood brings more alpine richness and aromatic rind, while Avonlea adds a clothbound cheddar note that keeps the board feeling lively rather than too polished.
Together, it gives the whisky more shape and weight without overwhelming its gentler side. Malt, butter, nuts, orchard fruit, and just enough savoury depth to keep everything in balance.
