Alfred le Fermier Grand Cru is simply superb. And even though it’s rarely found outside Quebec, it has a cabinet full of international awards to prove its pedigree.
Instead of the 9 months Alfred le Fermier normally gets aged, Grand Cru is aged for 20-36 months. The result is a cheese with a deep woodsy aroma and amazing flavours of fruit, caramel, and hazelnut.
