A classic Alpine cheese from Switzerland. The aroma is initially woody and then slightly fruity. The flavour is full bodied and slightly salty. Great for eating on it's own or for cooking, especially to top vegetables and French onion soup.
Serve with dry white wine or a red wine with fruity flavours and delicate tannins.
