Canada has banned many unpasteurized cow and buffalo milk cheeses from Switzerland, France, Spain, Greece & Italy, due to a cattle-disease outbreak.
This affects the availability of favourites including Brie de Meaux, Morbier, Tomme de Savoie, Vacherin Mont d'Or, and Tête de Moine.
We'll bring back these cheeses the moment we can, but the restrictions are expected to last many months.

British Columbia's Pacific Wildfire is a semi-firm smoked cheese made with locally grown hot peppers and ground black pepper. Definitely a bold cheese made for the adventurous.
Great for snacking and perfect for grilled burgers or spicy grilled cheese sammies.

We enjoyed this cheese - it presents with a slightly smokey taste/smell, and smooth, with a slight kick to it. It was great with some olives, and red wine. We would get it again.
This cheese has a bit of everything. A moderate yet discerning amount of heat and touch of smoke make it unique yet approachable. Delicious melted and especially on burgets or decadant sandwiches as sugested.
