What a delightful and extremely flavourful gelato. The gelato texture is wonderful and the tastes, which one might think bizarre, run perfectly together. I will indeed keep buying more!

Fabulous Cheese and other delicacies
Beautiful shop - the setting and layout are perfect! Excellent selection of fine cheeses and very helpful staff. The Death In Venice gelato brand is like nothing else I have tasted before- and that includes gelato in Rome! It is simply scrumptious!

Cheaper Than A Trip To Italy
I will admit to having a bit of sticker shock when I purchased this as an impulse buy. $12.50 is a bit of a lot for a pint of ice cream.
I shared it with a friend though, and he said that I was comparing it incorrectly.
You are not paying a lot for gelato. Rather, you are getting a proper, Italian style gelato experience in amazing flavors (tried the smoked pecan and maple butter tart and now want to try them all) for far LESS than a trip to Italy. That's the way to think about this.
Couldn't have said it better ourselves. This is probably why Death in Venice staff have been known to wear shirts that say 'IT'S F***ING GELATO, OK?' lol
