A Blog of Cheese

One of the things I love about owning a small local shop is the relationships we get to build with our customers. 

From day one, our goal with TOMME has been to create a welcoming and engaging community. One that revolves around really good cheese. 

That idea must have resonated because we now have hundreds of regulars. Every week, loyal customers walk through the door not only to buy something, but to chat about loved ones, jobs, travel plans, pets, COVID-coping strategies, and, of course, a common love of cheese. 

"Nooorrrrm!" moments abound. (Sorry, dated reference to Cheers.)

As our business has expanded online, we've been reaching many more customers all over Ontario and across Canada. I really want to continue to build that sense of belonging and shared passion for cheese, even if you can't visit TOMME in person.

That's what this blog is all about—we want to engage and inspire you no matter where you live.

We're going to start out posting weekly. Among other things, we're going to be sharing fun and accessible ideas for creating mouth-watering pizzas, oozy grilled cheese sandwiches, and delectable cheese boards.

Just as importantly, we're looking forward to hearing from you in the comments. So please don't hesitate to share your thoughts and ideas!
