P'tit Basque

Hailing from a region of France where small-scale produces still thrive, P'tit Basque is a traditional shepherd's cheese. Aged at least 70 days, this semi-hard cheese is smooth, creamy, and sweet with a pleasant nuttiness and faint scent of crème brûlé.
P'tit Basque makes a lovely substitute for cheese curlers with the traditional cheese, Tête de Moine, being denied entry to Canada (2025 onwards).
Half wheels are cut round, so they can be used with a cheese curler.
