September 24 Knife Sharpening Event

WHAT

Just in time for Thanksgiving, we’re offering expert knife and blade sharpening at TOMME.

WHO

Your knives will be sharpened by Drew at Sharp My Knife. He’s been sharpening and repairing knives for years, working with Food Network chefs and restaurants across the province.

WHY

Dull knives make cooking harder, slower, and riskier. Forcing your way through cuts leads to frustration and hand fatigue—and can cause accidents.

Whether you’re carving turkey or prepping heaps of fall vegetables, you’ll love how much safer and smoother your kitchen prep feels with razor-sharp knives.

HOW

Just bring your knives into TOMME—wrapped in a sheath or tea towel, please—by Wednesday, September 24.

They’ll be sharpened that evening, and we’ll email you as soon as they’re ready for pick-up on Thursday, September 25. You’ll have them back in perfect time for your Thanksgiving cooking.

WHEN

  • Drop off by Wednesday, September 24, 2025

  • Pick up afternoon of Thursday, September 25 (watch for our email before coming in)

PRICES

  • $1.60 per inch of blade for straight blades

  • $3.20 per inch of blade for serrated

  • $10 for scissors

  • Repairs to damaged blades available — prices quoted before work begins
