This velvety red wine from Sicily is made with slightly overripened Nero d'Avola grapes to balance out the more-acidic grapes in the blend. The result is a perfectly balanced red with soft tannins, an earthy minerality, and lots of ripe black fruit.

Plays nicely with Pecorino Romano, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Caciocavallo Podolico.
